Hi friends, I'm herewith attaching a Goal setting tool prepared in an Excel sheet and also a PowerPoint presentation on goal setting (PPT is used for training on goal setting) and the Excel sheet as an aid to set and manage personal and career goals.

Thank you for sharing a nice PPT on goal setting. It can be enhanced by incorporating the SWOT component before setting the goal and the Action Plan component after setting the goal. Adding some cartoons and a short story to illustrate the importance of goal setting would make it more engaging.

Just to extrapolate my idea and following the discussions I had over these details, I believe time management and decision-making are crucial for goals and achievements. It's seen that we plan elaborately (lol, as Indians are VERY good at planning) but seldom adhere to it. I believe that any aspirant should ask this question 'WHY' (as you have stated) to his PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE, so that he himself could gauge whether the set goal is really that important because perseverance is as important as goals when we look at the history of people like Edison, Beethoven, and Gandhiji.
