I need your advice on the matter below:
Issue with EPF Contributions
Two employees were working with us, and both have the same name:
1) Rakesh - with PF No. 07
2) Rakesh with PF No. 08
When Rakesh (07) left the company, by mistake, the contributions for Rakesh (PF No. 08) were submitted to Rakesh (PF No. 07) for 2 years on the ECR.
Inspection and Rectification Process
During an inspection conducted by the EPF inspector, we requested the officer to rectify all records with the help of supporting documents. The EPF was revised, and the inspection authority submitted the inspection report to the department for further rectification.
Current Situation
However, when employee Rakesh (08) claimed his entire EPF amount for withdrawal, he only received the amount from EPF No. 08, and the amount for the two years that was rectified by the inspector has not yet been transferred to EPF No. 08 by the EPF Department.
After numerous meetings with the concerned EPF clerk, we continue to receive the same response every time: "The work is still in process, and we will soon transfer the remaining EPF amount of Rakesh (08) to his bank account."
We have already discussed this matter with the high authorities at the EPF regional office but have not received any results from them so far.
Please suggest what to do now as we are completely fed up with the situation.

Clarification on ECR System and Required Forms
You have not mentioned whether it's prior to the introduction of the ECR system or post-ECR. However, to make corrections, you need to submit Form 3A revised for the years in dispute for the concerned member and Form 10 for the leaving member.
It seems that Form 10 was not submitted when member No. 7 left service. So, now submit Form 10 for member No. 7 and Form 3A for member No. 8 for the years in dispute. The department may ask for Form 6A calculations for all employees covering this member as well, for the disputed period to reconcile the status. If needed, produce the same.
Upon receipt, they would be able to process the same.
