Understanding TCS Campus Recruitment: Offer Letter Validation and Potential Withdrawal - CiteHR

One of my friends recently got placed in TCS via campus recruitment. She received the offer letter and accepted it within 7 days as mentioned. However, after 15-20 days, one of her batchmates asked her to validate the offer letter immediately, and she did so.

After some time, she realized that the "validate the offer letter" option was under the heading of withdrawal of an offer. Does this mean that she has withdrawn from the offer and won't get the joining? I am not from this field and do not have much knowledge about it. She really does not want to forfeit this offer.

Kindly assist me; this is urgent.

Mayank

Hi Mayank, How did she acknowledge the offer letter? Was that sent over an email or an hard copy of the offer was given to her? Need clarity on this.
