Hi Friends,

I have completed my B.Tech (2005) and gained 1 year of experience in .Net. However, after getting married, I was unable to continue working. Currently, I have enrolled in an MBA program and have chosen HR with Marketing as my dual specialization. Despite a long career break, I decided to pursue an MBA due to my interest in the field. My concern is whether companies will consider hiring me or not. Additionally, I am required to undergo a 4-week summer training program in my next semester. I would appreciate any guidance on how to approach this.

Thanks

Hello Mayaraje,

You would be treated as a fresher MBA by anyone wishing to hire you. At best, your BTech would be an asset in handling the HR or Marketing functions as you go along. You also will need to decide which line you wish to settle into - HR or Marketing - and more importantly why. If you are looking for any specific inputs from the members, please specify clearly.

All the best.

Regards,
TS
