What is the difference between PF Form 10C and 10D?

Form 10C is used when an employee has not completed 10 years of service, while Form 10D is used when an employee has completed 10 years of service. Form 10C is utilized before the death of the employee, whereas Form 10D is used after the death of an employee.

Is there anything else you would like to know regarding this topic?

Form 10 (D) is used when the employee's pension is to start, i.e., either after retirement or in case of death for family pension. However, Form 10(C) is used when the employee resigns. The pension withdrawal occurs if the service is less than 9.5 years. If the service is more than that, a pension certificate is to be issued, and the pension will start when the employee attains 58 years of age.

Dear Murugesan S,

Form 10C is used for two purposes:
(a) For withdrawal benefit if service is less than 10 years.
(b) For Scheme certificate if age is below 58 years.

Form 10D is used to withdraw pension. This can be done after 58 years, or between 50-58 years (reduced pension), following the death of a member at any age (family pension), or disabled pension (at any age during the lifetime of the member).
