Hi all, I have been working in a Pvt Ltd company for the past couple of years. However, in April 2015, my project closed, and I was placed on the bench. On May 4, 2015, I moved to a different short-term project for three months. After spending two weeks on this new project, I have decided to resign. My manager is requesting that I serve the entire two-month notice period, but my new company is not allowing this. I am willing to consider a buyout, but my manager is refusing. I kindly request your assistance in finding a way for me to be released from this company as soon as possible.

If notice buy out clause is there in appointment letter, your manager cannot refuse. Please check out your offer letter and deal with the matter firmly and calmly. Go back to HR and speak to them.
