Hello Members,
It's been 10 days since I offered my resignation from my position, and I have not yet received an official reply to my email from my reporting manager. My notice period is 30 days. While he has verbally assured me of acceptance over the phone, I have not received confirmation via email. I am feeling nervous about this situation.
As my reporting manager is the reference for the verification process by my new company, I am choosing not to confront him about the acceptance and am patiently waiting. Is this delay normal in the corporate world? I am unsure how to handle this situation.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to proceed.
Regards.

You should have received the acceptance email from the manager. Normally, in some organizations, when the manager fails to accept the resignation online within 7 days, HR has to accept the same. You should speak to your HR SPOC on this issue.
