Understanding Attrition Rate Calculation in Small and Large Organizations - CiteHR

Anonymous
Hi Everyone,

I am an HR professional in a very small company where the size is 10 employees. Now, I am preparing myself to transition to a larger organization by engaging in self-study during my spare time. Could anyone please provide insight into how attrition rate is calculated in both small and large organizations? Kindly share the relevant details.

Thank you.

Attrition rate % = number of employees resigned / actual no. of employees * 100.

Actual no. of employees = Total Number of employees at the beginning of the month plus total number of new joiners minus total number of resignations.

I hope that will help you.
