Death and disability are also covered under workers' compensation. However, if the employee demands compensation for their treatment from you (the employer), stating that they suffered the injury during work hours and it was work-related, then the same will be covered under workers' compensation insurance.
You need to inform your workers' compensation insurance company immediately and consult with them regarding the procedure for claiming under the policy.
