I have my EPS Scheme Certificate for 10 years, which I obtained about 6 years ago. I have completed 6 years in my current company. I approached my current employer, requesting them to transfer the scheme certificate of 10 years to my EPS (Employee Pension Scheme of PF) account with my current employer. My current employer has only taken a photocopy of my scheme certificate, returning the original to me. They have informed me that they would submit only the photocopy of the scheme certificate to the PF office, and they will transfer the service to my current EPS account.

I approached my current employer about a month ago, and I have not received any communication from the PF office. There is no way I can check the status in my UAN number Account. Can someone guide me on this, as to how to get the service as per the scheme certificate transferred to my current EPS account?

Thanks

To combine your previous service with your current service, you have two options: either transfer the previous service by applying in Form 13 through your current employer or surrender the scheme certificate to the EPFO when claiming a pension. When transferring EPS, the scheme certificate is not required.
