Unequal Notice Periods in Employment Contracts
Why is an employer mentioning a one-month notice period from their end, whereas if an employee has to resign, they come under the clause of three months as mentioned by the employer in the letter?
Please suggest ways in which there can be equal rules for both parties.
Thanks,
Moon

Hi Moon, there are no rules written in the company act regarding serving a resignation period. It is a mutual understanding between the employee and the employer. Actually, the employer doesn't want to disrupt their work because new hiring requires time and training. All rules are written in the job offer or appointment letter, and they clarify all these things in the HR induction program as well.
