Hello everyone, I am Rutvi Khandwala, working with an IT company in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Many of us have started our careers in Human Resources without having an MBA specialized in HR (like me), but have achieved success in the profession. However, somewhere deep down in our hearts, we feel a lack—not of knowledge, but of resources/books that were unfortunately out of reach due to insufficient funds/guidance.
Now, in my company, I have the opportunity to access good books provided by the company. Our director has requested a list of documents with the names of authors. Could you please suggest useful books along with the authors' names? For example, for Payroll, TDS, Performance Appraisal, statutory compliance, interviews, etc.
Thank you in advance.

I agree with Talentsorcerer; there is a lot of free material available on the web, including many e-books, and all the material is easily accessible. You just have to find out what's important for you. I would also like to add that it's not important to have a degree, though it helps a lot. What matters more is practical knowledge and exposure.
Wish you all the best.
