My name is Kedar Prasad, and I have been working in a corporate company for the past 12 months. Today, I checked my EPF balance on the EPFO website. I received an SMS on my mobile showing that my EPF balance consists of an EE Amount of Rs.1566/- and an ER Amount of Rs.480/-. I am confused as to why it is displaying this way. Given that I have been working in this firm since January 2013, I believe my EPF balance amount should be higher. Is there a time-consuming process involved in updating the amount in my EPF account?
Please assist me with this matter.
