Dear Friends,
I was working with a company that had its head office in Mumbai while I was working with their Delhi branch. However, I was registered in the Mumbai PF office. Now I am working in a company based in Noida, and I don't have a PF account in my present company. I had contacted my previous company in Mumbai, and they told me to send the 10C and 19 forms duly filled and signed to them, and they will do the needful and forward them to the Mumbai PF office.
So, I went to the Noida PF office and took the related forms. I also inquired from them about the procedure for withdrawing the PF. They informed me that the PF of Noida won't apply in Mumbai as the forms are not central, while my ex-office people say that the PF withdrawal forms are central. Additionally, the form I have taken from the Noida PF office has the Noida address on it. I am confused now whether to send that form to Mumbai or not. Please guide me as I am in urgent need of money, and it has been more than a year now.
Is there any way to find out how much amount is there in my PF account? Please help.

Provident Fund/Pension Fund forms are common all over India. The EPF Office at Noida might have printed forms with their address for the convenience of employees in that area. You can use those forms with the address of the Noida PF office. Alternatively, you can download the forms from the EPFO website and submit them to your previous employer for onward submission to the Regional/Sub-Regional Provident Fund Commissioner in Bombay.

To know your balance, please check the official website of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation of Maharashtra Region. If the website is not updated, collect the information personally from the office of the EPFO.

Hi Siddarth,
Since you want to withdraw the money, go to the PF website and download the forms as mentioned by you, and fill it up. Send it to your office in Mumbai, and they will be doing the needful. The form requires the signature of your previous employer for withdrawal. Please do not run around in the Delhi PF office. It is the responsibility of the HR in the previous organization. Kindly do not get worried.

Hi Siddarth,
Yes, as suggested by Kumar Manoj, you can take a print from the website, or you can purchase these common printed forms from any good stationary shop in Sector 15 and Sector 27 market. You have to send the form to the PF Mumbai office and get it signed by your previous employer.
If you are unable to get it signed by your previous employer, you can send the duly filled form attested by any branch manager of an Indian bank, maybe one of your Noida banks. This case can only happen when your previous employer has submitted their return for that period. If the return for that period has not been submitted, then another form, Form 3A of PF, also needs to be filled and attested by the bank. Make sure that the correct PF account number of the previous employer is mentioned in the form.
Generally, with the correct and duly filled submitted form, it will take 45-60 days in the PF office to withdraw your money. If you have urgency, it is better to go to Mumbai directly, meet the concerned person in the PF office or any agent (many will be available in front of the PF office), settle the matter, submit the form, and hopefully get the cheque within 10-15 days in that case.
Regards and best of luck,

Dear Siddharth,
I would like to inform you that PF is a central body, but as far as withdrawal is concerned, it can be done from the same PF office where your accumulations are deposited by your company. You need not worry about your PF accumulations. You just need to fill the withdrawal forms (Form 19 and 10C) and send them to your previous company. Please mention the details of the bank clearly so that the PF office will send your amount to that account. Ask your previous employer to deposit those forms to the PF office and take the acknowledgment from them.
Things to Remember:
1. You can apply for PF withdrawal only after 60 days of your relieving days.
2. After your forms are deposited, the PF office normally takes 45 days for processing.
3. If the forms are filled correctly and all the information provided is found correct, you will receive your accumulation in approximately 2 months. Otherwise, your form will return to the address mentioned by you in the form.
I hope your doubts are clear. If you still have any confusion, please feel free to contact.

My name is Savio Mendes, age 58 years. My PF number is AP/HY/13406/2658. I joined the company FGP Ltd. on 08 Jan 1988 in the Mumbai office. Later, the company was taken over by Ceat Tyre of India (Glass Fibre Division), and we shifted the office from Mumbai to Hyderabad. After that, Ceat Tyre of India (FGD) was taken over by Saint Gobain Vetrotex Ltd in Hyderabad. I left the job on 16/04/2004 from Saint Gobain Vetrotex Ltd and received a PF scheme certificate.
The issue is with the Date of Joining on the PF Scheme Certificate, which is mentioned as 16/12/1998. However, as per the Company Service Record, my actual date of joining is 01/02/1988. I am seeking a solution or guidance on the right person to contact regarding this matter.
