I worked in a company as an HR Executive on third-party payroll from April 2012 to March 2013. The offer letter was issued by a consultant. I recently filled out a form for a government organization, cleared my written exam, and have my interview next week. When filling out the form, I mentioned my tenure of working and the name of the company I was employed in, not the consultant. As I need to provide documents for experience proof, what can I take with me to show that I was working in the company?

Understanding Employment Contracts and Experience Proof
Working in a company will directly or indirectly be through a contract source. In my view, both are the same. The proof of work experience is the only thing they will consider, so you need not worry.
Regarding documents, you can obtain them from the company where you worked by stating that you were employed as an HR executive in the company. This is sufficient for the new employer.

It is your duty to state your previous employment status as Direct or Contract (Permanent, Temporary, Consolidated). If you are not a direct employee, carry the offer letter from the consultant. Meanwhile, obtain an experience letter from the consultant stating that you were working onsite with the client. Make sure to carry those proofs.
Thank you.
