If one person worked in a company from 2008 to 2011 and then resigned and withdrew his EPF amount, after a few months, he rejoined the same company. However, due to a clerical mistake, the company deposited his EPF into his old EPF account.
How to Withdraw EPF from a Closed Account
How can the employee withdraw the EPF from his old account, considering that the old account would have been closed by the EPF department after the first withdrawal? Please advise us.
Thank you.

Dear Seeru, you need to meet personally with the clerk of the respective PF office and explain the entire situation. He will assist you in this regard. However, based on my personal experience, clerks are not always cooperative in such cases as they need to redo and modify entries in the system since it was initiated online.
If that is the situation, you may directly approach the regional PF commissioner and provide him with a formal request letter detailing the entire case. They have the authority to make the necessary modifications to the account.
