Clarification on Calculating Working Days and Man-Days

The number of working days should include all days in a month except for weekly offs and company holidays.

"Mandays worked" should represent the total attendance of workers on all working days. When calculating attendance, partial attendance for less than half a day should be disregarded, while more than half a day should be considered as full attendance.

Hope this clarification helps.

I am calculating this way: for the month of October, deduct 31 days minus the number of off days and holidays, then repeat the same approach for the following month, and so on. Finally, I add all of them together and multiply the total by the number of workers. Is this the right approach? If not, could you please provide me with an example?

I am calculating this way: for the month of October, deduct 31 days by the number of off days, holidays, and aggregate attendance. Then, apply the same approach for the following month and so on. Finally, add all of them together and multiply the result by the number of workers. Is this the right approach? If not, could you please provide an example to illustrate.

Maintaining Muster Roll and OT Register

Hope you are maintaining the Muster Roll and OT Register for all the workers. Please total the man-days every month and get the data. Holidays and Sundays will not be considered for preparing the Muster Roll.

For the number of days worked, you can calculate all the working days your company has worked. For example, if you worked the full year, then you can calculate as follows: 365 days minus 52 Sundays and 9 or 10 National & Festival Holidays, which equals 304 or 303 days.

Hi! During the filing of the annual return for the period ending 31st Dec 2016, I found that the job awarded to some contractors in 2016 has not been awarded till date. Should I mention it in the annual return of P.E. or not?
