Types of Interns

There are various types of interns. A few are as follows:

1. A student as part of their curriculum (training).
2. A student for their project (final year).
3. Hiring for a short term to assist in any process (graduate, postgraduate, or diploma holder).

Here, there are two clauses: one is paid, and the other is without pay. Any clauses concerning the company have the right to fix up the timing. It depends on the work they are going to do. You can fix their timings depending on their work.

Procedure for Hiring Interns

The procedure for hiring is simple: derive a JD for them and approach any college. It is right to hire students from any college because they will be approaching for their final project, which is for 4 months.

What we do is, we always ask them to adhere to our timings. But you can choose to fix timing based on a need. I suggest you fix flexible timing for them so that they will not waste their time nor yours.

You can hire interns directly from colleges and universities. You have many options to induct an intern, such as whether you want to offer a paid internship or an unpaid internship. How will you select interns? Will it be through their semester marks, a test, or an interview? You should hire them for the complete working hours.
