I am a second-year MBA (HR) student. I have chosen the broad theme of 'Employee Engagement' for my dissertation project. I need guidance on narrowing down the topic. If I choose this topic, what are the various ways and paths to approach the research? This will be a 6-month research project (along with ongoing classes).

In order to narrow it down, you need to read scholarly articles to find out what others have done, how, and why they did it that way. Additionally, you need to let us know where you will be conducting the project and what limitations you may encounter. For instance, a student working on a project within a company was informed that she would not have access to secondary data, let alone primary data.

Thank you for your guidance! I have 2 options for doing the project:
1. A live project in an organization (which I can visit once in a fortnight because my classes will also go on simultaneously).
2. A general project selecting any sector (for which I will do secondary research and also primary research (survey method) and analyze.
