I am trying to list all the major and minor business spends an organization has to ascertain which areas exist. I am talking about services here and not core infrastructure or the running of the organization, focusing on aspects that are general to all organizations.

The Usual List

1) Housekeeping services - often contracted to external organizations.
2) Recruitment consultants - paid on a success basis.
3) Payroll services - some organizations are starting to do this.
4) Training services - utilized when a specific need is defined.
5) Catering services - providing food and beverages for employees.
6) Marketing agencies - utilized for promotions.
7) Financial services - including audits, bookkeeping, and accounting.

New Emerging Services

1) Candidate assessment test services.
2) Offsite team building activities services.
3) Corporate gifting and printing services.
4) Social media services - such as maintaining brand identities and listening teams.
5) HRIS systems to maintain employee records, etc.
6) Team and project management services.

Please add to this list. The core goal is to identify emerging service areas or areas that can be serviced but are not currently being addressed.

If I may add:

- Legal services for both operations and support services
- Travel and concierge desk (for large firms)
- Immigration and other international support services towards expat management and business transition
- Vendor management for the purchase of products and services
- Transport (if offered by the employer to the employee)

I would like to add the following:

1. Safety (HSE Team) Services to Factories/Construction Industries.
2. Security Services (as the company cannot deploy their own personnel as security guards due to the lack of Guard Board Approvals and other licensing requirements).
3. Casual Workforce (this will be deployed only through contractors because the services are required for only a certain timeframe, and a permanent workforce will cost them more).

Additional HR Services

- Background screening services (many available online)
- Pathology services for employee health checkups
- Office supply services (stationery, etc. - some online services were started but most have failed to capture this market - still offline and often based on contracts)
- Travel phone services (like Matrix)
- Service apartments and extreme budget hotels

The reason for creating this list is to help people who are looking to start HR services and also to identify new emerging trends. The list needs to remain HR-centric—focusing on aspects that directly impact employees.

Some more additions that I would like to include, mostly related to employee services:

- Crèche and children's daycare services (for working parents)
- Medical services (in addition to the pathology services mentioned above)
- Occupational health services
- Psychiatric and counseling services (to address the increasing work-related stress that hampers personal efficiency and well-being)
- Insurance and financial services (to support adequate financial security planning)
