Dear All, a tragic news came across to me on New Year's Day. I thought of sharing it with all of you. This may be a reason for many of us to take a New Year resolution: "Not to Drink & Drive."
An allegedly drunk policeman ran over a 22-year-old woman in Mumbai, who later succumbed to her injuries suffered during the accident on Monday. Family and friends of the woman have alleged the policeman driving the van was drunk, while the police have said the officer was not responsible.

Road Safety Week: January 1st to 7th
January 1st to 7th is observed as Road Safety Week with the theme "Stay Alive, don't drink and drive." Thanks to Raghu, who already let this be known to all of us in the thread below:

I think this is enough for all of us to take a New Year resolution of "Not to Drink & Drive." See how a person's fault put one family into the depths of sorrow in the new year. Let's pray for the soul of that 22-year-old girl.
Regards,

Dear Dipil, I know it is difficult to change everyone. There will always be a few people who will not change, but let them be what they are. Administration will take care of them. As of now, there are so many people breaking the rules, making it difficult for the administration to punish them all. However, if everyone takes their own responsibility, the number of rule breakers will decrease, making it easier to catch and punish them.
I doubt that we are going to realize this anytime soon, but let's hope for the best. All the best! Safe driving!
Enclosed is a 'Fatality Accident' news for your view. It happened in AP yesterday after the New Year celebration...
