Dear All,

This is an Australian Public Service Announcement: very graphic, shocking, and may not be suitable for viewing by the faint-hearted. Nevertheless, it is one of the best drinking and driving messages that I have seen. I had to send it to you all as it carries a very poignant message.

YouTube - TAC 2009 Campaign TV ad - 20 Anniversary retrospective montage "Everybody Hurts" music by REM

I encourage you to spread this, so that if one life is saved, I have achieved my mission of sending it to you.

Regards,
Colonel Jude Mayne

Dear Colonel Jude,

Thank you so much for posting this link. I saw not only this video but also the other public service videos from TAC (Transport Accidents Commission), Australia. A set of raw, shocking, gut-wrenching videos of how careless driving can snuff out innocent human lives in seconds. The scenes depicting young children falling victim are especially poignant and moving.

I wish these could be shown to everyone who drives a vehicle and must become compulsory viewing for anyone applying for a driving license. Knowing that innocent human lives are at stake, we all must drive responsibly.

Warm regards.
