Hello Everyone, I work as an HR professional in an IT company with a staff of 50 employees. I am tasked with identifying 12 topics for each month of 2013 as part of an initiative led by management. These topics should benefit employees on both personal and professional levels.
Examples of Topics
For example:
- Take Charge
- Out of the Box
I am seeking suggestions for topics that I can propose to the management. The topics should be engaging, interesting, encourage employee participation, and be acceptable to everyone.
I look forward to receiving your valuable responses.

I remember when we used to organize management classes, we would come up with custom names like Brainchild @ Work Station, Spy an Eye, Scorch Yard, and Unnerve the Squirm. These names were specific to the topics and would instinctively attract employees.
Exploring Topic Ideas
Now, let's delve into what the above hints at:
- **Brainchild @ Work Station:** Learning how to use technology at work to improve efficiency.
- **Spy an Eye:** Typically led by intellectuals, this session provides information on morale and integrity. (An eye for detail)
- **Scorch Yard:** (Dumping Zone) If someone has been given multiple chances to improve but shows no progress, this task is assigned.
- **Unnerve the Squirm:** Focusing on stopping workplace humiliation and promoting equal opportunities for all employees.
Give these a try, and I'm confident you will achieve what you are aiming for.
Best regards

Thank you for your reply. The names which you suggested are great. Is it possible to share some more topics? I need 12 topics for 12 months of 2013. I searched on Google but wasn't able to get relevant replies.

Here are some more games that I recollected; I hope these may be of use to you:
- **Candour Segment:** In this segment, a situation related to a particular employee will be provided, and he has to speak frankly about it.
- **Unravel the Gavel:** This was a fun game where one person stops gaveling, and the other has to untie the sentence and complete its meaning (a fun and learning game).
- **Tom - A Vanguard:** The team points to one person often for answering the most in the session, and he becomes the team lead for that week. You might have seen this in teams where only one person answers a lot compared to the rest.
I will post some more games in case I acquire a few names from my colleagues.
