Hi everyone, I am an IT professional with 1.4 years of experience currently, and in a couple of months, I will complete my bond period. I was not given many opportunities and have been placed on the bench in the firm. Therefore, I am trying to move to another company. Even if opportunities were given, they were not appealing to me. Can I attend interviews and accept any new offers during the bond period without HR coming back to the current organization for background verification? If that happens, people here will know I am ready to move and may not release me. Kindly advise me on whether I should inform the interviewer about my bond and explain that I will need the release letter before joining.

If a person is on the bench, will they be released without a notice period? Can anyone please advise me on this?

Thank you.

Considering Your Bond Period Expiry

You mentioned that your bond period is likely to expire within a couple of months. You can start searching for new opportunities, and by the time they materialize, your bond period would have expired. There is nothing wrong with informing potential employers in advance about your bond period.
