Team,

Enclosed is a safety bulletin regarding improperly installed D-Ring on MILLER safety harness. Although this issue was identified in MILLER products, we request that we double-check our fall protection harnesses (regardless of manufacturer) for the same defect. Please discard and replace any defective harnesses to prevent their use.

Dear Raghu,

Thank you for sharing the improper use of the D-Ring. This is a learning opportunity for everyone. In fact, we treat safety harnesses as one of the lifting tools and tackle. Therefore, we have numbered them and we test each harness every six months. If the competent person rejects any item, we immediately cut it at 3 to 4 points and take photographs. Even contractors must produce a Test Certificate from a competent person every six months for the safety harnesses they use.

Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
