Understanding Fire NOC
Please help me understand what a Fire NOC is. Where can we obtain it, and what is the procedure, required forms, fees, and the last date for submission? Is it obtained annually or just once? Who is the relevant authority?
Please provide me with detailed information.

Dear Lokesh, Fire NOC stands for No Objection Certificate against Fire Prevention & Protection system. The documents required for obtaining a Fire NOC are:
1. Application in Form 3
2. Copy of the first Fire NOC and the last Fire NOC
The issuing authority in Delhi is the Fire Department, and in some other states, the issuing authority is the Municipal Corporation, such as in Gurgaon (HR). In Delhi, Fire NOC is valid for 3 years, while in Gurgaon, it is issued for 1 year.
If you encounter any difficulties in this matter, please feel free to contact Mr. P.K. Sharma at [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons] or [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons], as he is quite experienced in this area.

Dear All,
I'm an ISMS 27001 Internal Auditor from Chennai. My company will undergo ISMS certification this year, but our building doesn't have the stability nor fire NOC. We will not get both if we apply, as our building was not constructed for commercial purposes. Can anyone suggest how to proceed? Can we accept this as a risk and proceed with certification?
