Enhancing Our Knowledge: A Strategic Approach
Do we have a plan on how we would work to sharpen our knowledge? Is it only by chance that we get pushed and learn something we never knew? Work and everyday lives are meant to be filled with situations that we have no clue how to handle. How are we working on our functional areas otherwise? Let's begin with one section professionally that's connected to a bigger picture, yet essential to our regular life. Are there any sets of exercises we include? Do they result in what we want?
Improving Language Skills: A Fundamental Necessity
Let's take language skills, as it is basic and often ignored in the official environment and humdrum of learning. How are we working to improve our language? Reading is what comes naturally, but does that make us better? I read for hours every day, yet sound flat when I speak. Crossword puzzles are an effective way to work on vocabulary. However, there must be a zillion more ways that most of us are involving in our everyday life. Tell us the ways that you consider for your learning.

As you rightly said, we often get pushed to learn something new. But we should show efforts towards the specific areas to be learned. I take this opportunity to ask for a new group self-improvement activity—a daily crossword quiz on different aspects of HR, Communication, and other soft skills. This can be competitive and very beneficial for learning.
Let's Start with Communication
I am sharing a new vocabulary for Business & Administration, which is like a crossword and will be effective for learning.
Thank you.

Thank you for your contribution. I bought a book last week called 'In a Word' by Mark Broatch. This book was mentioned in the Writer's Toolkit. What I loved about this book is that it is not merely limited to picking up a better synonym. The explanation of how word association stands apart from characterization is beautifully presented in this book.
At times, I find myself running blank in the middle of a sentence, literally running out of words! This experience reinforces the idea that words reflect our thought process, and vice versa. The true test of my understanding will be seen in how I apply the knowledge gained from this book in the long run. I remain hopeful :)
