Hi all,

I am in my second year of MBA and I need to complete an assignment on Training Needs Analysis. I require information on the following topics:

1. Growth of training needs up to date
2. Practices to present day
3. Future of TNA/ITN (identifying training needs)

Please assist me with these topics and provide any materials you might have. This is a bit urgent.

Thank you.

Identification of Training Needs

The need for training can be a part of an HRD strategy to develop employees at various levels, namely new recruits, staff for technology upgradation, employees with old skills (referred to as Deadwoods), supervisors, and managers.

1. New recruits: A package consisting of details about the organization, its values, departments, roles assigned to them, duties, responsibilities, and benefits, etc.
2. Technology Upgrades: As per the new manual.
3. Retraining: Supervisory training and placement.
4. Training for supervisors and managers: Training needs are identified from the annual performance appraisal:
- Lower quartile for warning (25%)
- Lower middle-rated employees to be identified for training (25%)
- Upper middle-rated employees to be rewarded with incentives (25%)
- Upper quartile to be considered for promotions (25%)

Hi,

You can view the topic posted by me - "Add any topic in my training contents list" to get the answer to your second question on practices up to the present day. As for the third question on the future of Training Needs Identification (TNI), you can circulate the TNI form. I am attaching a sample TNI form for your reference.

Thanks,
Chiragi
