I need your advice on this topic. I have submitted my resignation at my current employer and am currently serving the notice period. My new employer (whom I am yet to join) is requesting my resignation letter, which I had previously sent to my manager. Is this request valid? I haven't come across such cases with my friends. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Maverick

Sometimes companies do ask for a copy or email confirming your resignation acceptance from your current employer to ensure they have the correct information. It's okay to provide them with that. If you have any communication from your current employer stating that your resignation has been accepted, you can forward the same to your new employer.
