Hi,

I received a new job confirmation email from the HR of my new company after completing all interview rounds and submitting documents. Consequently, I resigned from my old company based on the confirmation letter from HR. However, I have been waiting for the offer letter from HR for the past 7 days, but I have not received it yet. Whenever I call HR, they answer and explain that there are internal staffing issues causing delays. They assure me that I will receive the offer letter soon. I have already informed HR that I am serving my notice period in my current company.

I am feeling a bit nervous about this situation. Should I continue to wait for the offer letter? Can I trust the confirmation letter I received from HR via email? I would appreciate any suggestions or advice on how to proceed.

See the forum cannot be able to state the status of your offer with the company. You have applied and had interviewed, you must be well aware of the stability and reputation of the company than any other member of this forum.

Since the HR has sent an email from his official email ID, there are fewer chances of withdrawing back, since you have proof of the offer. But again, you cannot do any harm legally. Even if you take them to the court of law, they will appoint you, and you will be in a probation period, and they can terminate without notice any day during probation, so there is a risk.

Hi Official mail confirmation is also considered as valid document. Hope you will get the offer letter and join. You also mail to HR regarding the notice period.

Hi,

Don't make yourself too nervous because an email confirmation letter can be trusted. There is no need to feel foolish. The key is to ensure your confirmation letter for the upcoming job is strong.

All the best,

From the talent acquisition mailbox, I received an email on the 14th of November regarding the offer for acceptance after the interview I had on the 11th of November in NOIDA. The HR representatives for the interview were Karan and Anchal, who sent me for the final round. At that time, there were four of us who cleared all the rounds, including me. The manager for the final round was Natraj from the Accounts Payable, and we all went through the interview process. Subsequently, we all returned home. On the 14th of November, we received the offer for acceptance, including myself and another girl who interviewed alongside me. The email requested specific documents such as a birth certificate and a resignation from the current employer. Additionally, the note stated to send the documents by the 14th. Consequently, I resigned from my current employer the following day. After that, there was no further communication. However, I reached out to Karan through my friend Nikhil Aggarwal, who works at Aon Hewitt. Nikhil confirmed with Karan that I was shortlisted for the Accounts Payable position in finance. Karan mentioned that by the end of the last week, they would send me the offer letter to my email address. Today, they called me and questioned who instructed me to resign. They abruptly stated that this conversation would be our last and abruptly ended the call, mentioning that they had hired me in error, and there were no current openings available.
