I am confused about what I should choose: a research work or a business plan (in our university, we have to submit either one). I want to prepare a business plan on a private hostel, but my teacher suggested to our class that we should all go for research work. Now I am confused about what I should do. The idea of a private hostel is considered old or not innovative, as some friends have mentioned.

Thank you for the prompt response. I want to prepare a business plan because we have already completed two research projects, and now we want to explore new ideas. As a hostel resident, you can understand the condition of government hostels, which is not very good. Therefore, I am considering developing a business plan for it to explore all aspects of hostel life. I have no prior experience in this area other than being a hostel resident.

You can build a prototype model of your hostel by using thermocol sheets and other materials. By showcasing this prototype model, you can present the business plan for hostel management along with relevant policies, including areas of improvement in your current hostel. This will help you demonstrate a live project with a prototype model that will be unique as it combines both the Business Plan and a live model.
