Hi, I recently received an offer from Infosys with 5 years of experience. However, I only have documents for 4.6 years; for the first 6 months, I don't have any documents. The background verification form requires me to fill in 5 years of employment. Can I fill it for 4.6 years of employment and go ahead and join? Will this be a problem? Kindly suggest.

If you have dedicated your valuable time to an employer, it is essential to retain documentary evidence of your employment.
If you do not have an experience certificate, try to locate your offer letter, appointment letter, resignation email, relieving letter, salary slips, bank statements, or cash vouchers – anything that can confirm your employment with the specific company. Having these documents will assist you in persuading the HR department of the company you are joining. Make sure to inform them in advance since you still have time, and the requirement is only for the initial 6 months.
