Well, in case you are looking to improve your English, I would suggest one thing and one thing only: read an English newspaper daily. Ensure that you are reading it out loud so that in case you get stuck with a word, you don't omit it and move on. Also, keep a dictionary handy. This would help you get the right pronunciation for words you may get stuck on.
Try it; it has worked for a lot of people, and I keep giving the same suggestion to those interested in improving their English.
