Forming a Social Committee: Member Selection and Responsibilities - CiteHR

Dear Folks,

We are looking to form our company's "Social Committee." This committee will be responsible for all staff activities and social events organized by the company, including sports activities, cultural events, recreational activities, and other staff social events.

We would like your assistance in the formation of this committee, including how to select the members of the Committee and defining their responsibilities and objectives.

I appreciate your advice.

Kind Regards,

Dear Venkatesh,

It's a good idea to introduce employees to recreational activities. In my opinion, the committee structure could be as follows:

- President from the HRD Dept
- Vice President from Production
- Committee members from All Department Heads
- Financial Secretary from the Finance Dept
- Event Manager from General Administration Dept

I hope my contribution meets your consideration.

Best regards,
Venkatesh

Sir,

Please make an announcement in your company inviting volunteers for the same, possibly one for each process/work area. If possible, do not form one gigantic committee; instead, form various subcommittees or forums, for example, one for waste minimization and one for Total Preventive Maintenance, etc.

Keep me updated.
