Dear Raman,

It is quite an informative presentation. However, what is your audience? It must be compatible with the audience that you are going to make this presentation and must not be over their heads, nor should it be below the standards expected on delivery. I hope you would agree with me that the contents and style of delivery would change based on whether you would present this to university students or to production floor supervisors of a factory or else to students following a distance learning study programme. In this case, the presentation must have every minute detail in support of understanding the context easily. Also, if it is a presentation delivered to an audience by you, then the slides must be in point form, thus serving as a guideline that you can expand and explain in detail.

Dear Arivoli,

Thank you for sharing. As Punya has pointed out, you should have the audience in mind. If this is for submitting any paper, it is okay. But people like us who are training will have to look into the needs of the audience. All said and done, good effort. Keep it up.

Dear Mr. Raman,

Indeed, it's an informative presentation, but it took me a little more time to understand the whole thing. As mentioned by Mr. Nagaraj and Ms. Punya, your target audience is different from ours as we all can't expect the same output from individuals.

I have one suggestion for you:
a) Kindly publish 30% of the total information in the form of Main Titles.
b) 30% of the remaining information as subtitles.
c) The remaining 40% you should disclose/explain orally to your audience rather than filling up your slides with information. The right tone, pitch, and body language will attract the audience's attention towards you and definitely make them feel that you are a special person.

With profound regards,

Dear Arivoli,

My compliments on your presentation. You will benefit from others' comments.

My suggestion is that you may like to look at 'TA' as a tool to bring in understanding about self. Your content on Johari & FIRO should have an introduction to the concept and rationale for introducing them. You may like to give more information if you plan to introduce the instrument and let the audience interpret their preferred styles in these instruments (e.g. different types of windows and their implications for 'teamwork'; similarly, preferences in FIRO may have implications for working relationships).

Best Wishes,

The acrostic for "Tactful" is very good.

In many languages, "Amma" means mother. With that, I have created an acrostic as follows:

Ability is what one can perform.
Motivation enables one to perform.
Mindset determines one's willingness to perform.
Attitude is one's complete guide to perform.

Dear Arivoli,

You seem to have full mastery of your topic, so I suggest you cut down on some of the text in your slides. You might want to read up on Presentation Zen, which is a technique used by Steve Jobs. It advises trainers to move away from the habit of using presentations as reading material and instead focus on delivery and mastering the topic.

Good luck in your presentation.

Best regards,
