Dear All,
I am a law graduate working as a Law Officer in a manufacturing company, handling labor disputes in the Labor Office and in the Labor Court. I want to study more to reach the highest level in the HR Department, but I am unable to make a decision and don't know which of the following courses hold value:
1. MBA in HR
2. Diploma in HR
3. Diploma in MSW
4. Diploma in Labor Laws
or something else.
Please advise.

Doing an MBA in HR, especially from the top universities part-time, will be the best option. If not, consider researching the top 3 correspondence universities and completing the program there. Upon completing an MBA in HR, your knowledge of labor law will become a gem in your crown. All the best. I am currently pursuing an MBA in HR from IGNOU and also undertaking a Diploma in labor law from Annamalai University. I have heard that Symbiosis and ICFAI are among the best choices. While IGNOU is good, it is time-consuming. I enrolled in 2010 and have only received my PGDHRM so far. I still have to submit my project, which will take another 6 months to a year. If you wish to complete your MBA in HR within a 2-year timeframe, I recommend not choosing IGNOU. It would be better to seek advice from seniors as well. All the best.
