Dear Sir/Madam,
I am joining a medical institution, and I do not have any experience with the HR policies of medical organizations or hospitals. The organization I am going to join does not have any HR policy in place and they want me to develop a policy to bring discipline to the organization. The staff will consist of medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, wardboys, aayas, pathology staff, radiation technicians, radiologists, as well as non-medical office staff.
I would like to understand the policies regarding their leaves, working hours, probation periods, etc. Could you please guide me in this regard?
Thank you.

Developing an HR Manual for a Multispeciality Hospital
Recently, I have joined a multispeciality hospital where I am tasked with creating the HR policies and HR manual. Having previously worked in the manufacturing field, I do not have experience with HR roles in the medical field. Kindly help me develop the HR manual for the hospital. Additionally, please send me a sample HR manual from any multispeciality hospital if available.
The HR manual should contain:
- Recruitment and selection policy
- Grievance handling procedures
- HR laws applicable to hospitals
- Organizational structure
- Trade unions in hospitals
- Performance appraisal methods
- Leave policy
- Payroll processes
- Manpower sources and budgeting, among others.
If anyone has details about this, please kindly send it to [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].
Many thanks in advance.

Heena Suthar.

- Reimbursement Policy
- Laptop Policy
- Mobile Policy
- Housekeeping Policy
- Dress Code Policy
- Discipline Policy
- Patient Entry Policy
- Visitor Policy
- Salary and Incentive Policy
- Health and Safety Policy
- Security and Safety Policy
You may devise as many policies for the betterment of the hospital, doctors, and the patients.
Thanks

I joined a hospital as an HR Executive. I do not have any experience with HR policies in medical organizations or hospitals. The organization I am joining does not have any HR policy; they want me to create a policy to bring discipline to the organization. The medical staff will include doctors, nurses, wardboys, ayahs, pathology staff, radiation technicians, radiologists, etc., along with non-medical office staff.
