My organization (IT - MNC) is looking to expand to China. I'm searching for a list of HR Statutory Compliances for China. Also, if anyone has a list of Labor Agencies in China, that would be of great help.

Hi,

China has the most complex statutory structure! The best agency is FESCO, which is owned by the government. A bit expensive, but all compliances are taken care of!

Hi Yash,

The statutory compliances are different for different provinces. I can provide you with information for Shanghai:

1. Social Insurance and Housing fund (Shanghai Domicile City Insurance) includes:
- Pension Insurance (childbirth insurance included)
- Unemployment Insurance
- Mandatory Medical Insurance
- Occupational Injury Insurance
- Housing Fund

The rate is 62% of the base for the total insurances mentioned above (includes both employer and employee contributions).
