Hi all, please help me out of this particular dilemma. I was working with a company for a period of more than 1 year. However, during this time, I managed to secure another job that seemed more lucrative in terms of salary. Unfortunately, upon joining the new company, I realized that the role was not suitable for me. Now, I am no longer interested in working with this current company and wish to rejoin my previous employer. Could anyone advise me on what reason I could give to justify my return to my previous employer? I am finding it difficult to cope with my new job.

Best regards,
Vinayak

Hi,

Even I have experienced the same, but yes, be honest with your previous organization. Especially, first speak to someone you were close with in your previous organization, and later speak to your boss. The trick is to be honest. Yes, I have done that, and I rejoined my previous organization.

Regards,
Francis

Yes, that's fine. However, I am sure that the previous employer would ask me about the probability of staying with their company for a long time again. I know it's quite difficult to answer this question. I really want to know how I could tackle these kinds of questions. Please help me out of this difficult situation.
