Hi,
I'm looking for material/document on the trends in the Compensation (Y-O-Y hike trends, Y-O-Y Compensation averages for various experience levels, etc.) for the past 5 years (2005-2010) and projections for the next 5 years (2010-2015) in the IT industry, generally. It'd be of great help if someone can share this info with me.
Regards, Priyanka

There's no easy way to do this. Either you have to do it yourself or seek help through consultants. If you choose to do it yourself, identify your stakeholders from whom you can obtain the most valuable inputs. Conduct a survey with questions that will aid in gathering information and be prepared to engage in a serious number-crunching exercise. Additionally, you should also interview key stakeholders for specific insights.

Dear Priyanka,
I agree with Satyam and Ed Llarena, please consider accessing this report through a professional body. Collecting data would require an enormous amount of validation. Finally, industry parameters and standards for such reports may not be known to all.
Wish you all the best.
