Understanding Minimum Wages Categorization in Different States - CiteHR

Dear All, I have a confusion regarding minimum wages in Delhi. Could you please clarify this for me?

Categories for Minimum Wages

There are two categories for minimum wages:
1. (a) Unskilled
(b) Semi-skilled
(c) Skilled

2. (a) Non-matriculates
(b) Matriculate but not graduate
(c) Graduate and above

Which category is applicable in a news agency? Is it that category 1 is applicable to the Technology division and category 2 is applicable to the rest of the divisions (including Peons, cleaners, etc.)? This is mentioned at the top of category 2 in the notification of the latest minimum wages as "Clerical and Non-Technical Supervisory Staff."

I am looking forward to your valued advice.

Thanks and regards,
APARNA
