Start with a GAP ANALYSIS first and later you can go ahead as per the requirements of the SA8000 standard.

First, go through the SA-8000 document and deduce what it requires. Then, observe the practices being carried out in your organization and determine what is needed to comply with SA-8000. Prepare an action plan based on priorities, addressing what is required first before moving on to less critical items.
Carry on with implementing the necessary steps. My best wishes to you.

Dear Tahirnmps,
You need to update the documents from SA8000-2001 to SA-8000-2008 standards. The same information is available on the website. Please confirm the type of industry you work in. If it is the garment industry, I can assist you.

Hi, dear,
What I feel is no theory is perfect for every situation. Try to be more contingent in decision-making as none of us knows what the situation is in that new organization. Try to make a situational analysis and then list down the gaps you have identified.
Also, try to contact any previous HR personnel in the organization if you can, so you can get a better idea of the situation and how people react to things there before making a decision.
Hope this could be of some use to you.

Dear Tahir,
Start with the manuals and standing orders. Make age proof compulsory and overtime as per limits allowed. Check security staff also for overtime. Make the necessary committees and core team. Conduct employee awareness classes. About BNW, take the help of an NGO nearby and start it. Carry out risk analysis of all the activities, make the safety manual, and identify the PPEs.
My email id is n.veerabaghu@gmail.com. Please write to me after doing these. All the best.

Dear All,
I am glad at the way all of you responded. I have a clearer understanding of what needs to be done. Muhammad Jaleel, as I work in the garment industry, I would appreciate any additional insights or suggestions from you or anyone else.
