Hi all,

I am working with a company as an analyst. At the time of joining, my company did not give me an appointment letter. Now, one day they had me sign an appointment letter on a bond paper with the company's letterhead. I did not realize it was an agreement for two years, but I want to change jobs.

I simply want to know if this kind of agreement, which is on the company's letterhead and not on legal stamp paper, is valid for legal proceedings.

Thank you,
Shailendra
