Dear All,
Glad to be interacting with you all in the forum. I work with a stockbroking company in Chennai in the HR department. My management has decided to get a complete HR Management System software for our company. Could you please suggest the best possible HR software available in the industry? My company is looking for a complete package that should cover Recruitment, Separation, Performance Management, Training, and Payroll. Your valuable responses would be of great help to me.
Thanks and Regards,
Vidya Rajan

Hi Vidya,
You may consider Folklore HRMS. With over 15 years of presence in the industry and over 400 installations across India, the Middle East, and Malaysia, Greytip Software has established itself as one of the reputable HRMS vendors in India. They were recently showcased at the prestigious NASSCOM Product Conclave 2009. For more details and a demo, you can reach out to their Business Development Team in Chennai at 9884000891.
Thank you.

Ms. Vidya Rajan,
There are many HRMS Solutions available in the market and you have lot of choice. On the flip side there is a possibility that, you may end up choosing a wrong solution in a hurry. I suggest involve at least 2-3 people, few seniors and persons from systems/EDP/Computers in all presentations and vendor interactions.
Firstly define your exact needs in the light of Companies' Future Growth Plans, Culture Type of Industry, Current HR Practices and Processes etc. and benchmark each product against your needs.
You also need to consider points such as Technology, Upgradeability, Scalability, Customization, Cost, Budget, Performance Guarantees, Other Resources required, Hardware Requirements, After Sales Service, Cost of Upgrades, User Feedback etc.
All the Best and Regards

Ms. Vidya Rajan,
A word of caution. ERP packages are great, but ERP makes sense only if your entire organization is planning to transition to an ERP platform. Implementing ERP in HR alone will not be effective. It is also important to consider ERP costs, implementation costs, and upgrade expenses. There are many standalone HRMS packages available that are just as effective as ERPs.
Thanks & Regards
