UDream, in association with ISIM, is conducting a two-day workshop on business process management, led by Prof. Raghu Santanam from Arizona State University. Business Process Management (BPM) is a holistic management approach that promotes business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration with technology. It seeks to continuously improve processes and could be described as a 'process optimization process.' The workshop aims to impart an understanding of the issues encountered in evaluating, designing, implementing, and managing business processes. The objective is to build foundations for process analysis by focusing on key aspects of business processes, including collaboration, information flow, people, roles, and business rules. The workshop will introduce various techniques and tools of process analysis and management, including process mapping techniques and simulation. It will also help build the competency required to model and analyze AS-IS processes and develop well-thought-out improvement plans for redesigning organizational processes. Topics covered will include the importance and benefits of a Process-Oriented Enterprise, modeling and analysis of As-Is Business Processes, principles of effective business process design, and simulation modeling to assess To-Be process models. The workshop will use real business case studies in interactive sessions to deliver the core content. A course packet consisting of workshop notes, articles, and business case studies will be provided to each participant. Business process modeling sessions will be conducted using industry-standard Business Process Modeling Software. The workshop is suitable for professionals in a wide range of professions including Manufacturing, IT, Education, Process Analysts, Service Industries, Banking, etc. A working knowledge of computers and its applications is essential. Registration details are provided at the link below or you can contact Jayanth or Shweta for registration. The registration fee includes teaching materials, lunch, and refreshments.
