How is it that both the above posts are very similar. Is the Korean MNC a highway consultancy firm? Please search CiteHr for previous posts on this topic, using the Advanced Search facility.

Hello friends,

I am a 2009 MBA pass out specialized in Marketing and HR. I want to know whether there are openings in the HR field compared to other streams. Please answer this question, and also suggest which industry sector I can consider to start my career.

Thank you.

Dear Friend,

It depends upon your confidentiality levels. Based on today's market conditions, it's tough to find out core HR discipline. It's better to start your career in consultancy as a recruiter. Later on, you can shift industries. If not, you can join any training consultancy as a trainee. It's the best advice for you; you can find good growth yourself. Statutory compliance everyone can do, but becoming a trainer is not that easy.

Another piece of advice: you can work under any legal consultant on labor laws; it's very awesome.

I hope I have given good advice to you.

With regards,
Naresh

Are you looking to automate the appraisal process in your organization? I can recommend a solution along with software. Creating your own system, managing it manually using paper forms or spreadsheets, and analyzing results and post-appraisal processes would be very tedious and time-consuming. If interested, please feel free to send me a private message with your contact details, expected time to go live, and approximate budget.

Dear Avnish,

You are looking forward to conducting an appraisal in a factory. A corporate appraisal is different from a factory appraisal, and it also depends on the type of factory because the appraisal will vary based on the industry.

Three things are important since the appraisal will vary for all categories:

1. Level of the employee
2. Unit in which the employee is working (e.g., assembly line, etc.)
3. External factors

For these aspects, you will need to assess the employees and map them according to the expected output.
