Hi,

I have resigned from a private IT firm recently. I wanted to know how to withdraw my PF. I require all the information from scratch. It is not clear to me if for the withdrawal of my PF, which was deducted from my salary while I was with the organization, I need to fill out both Form 10C and Form 19. Please help me as I am doing it for the very first time.

Thanks & Regards,
Debasmita

Hi Debasmita,

First of all, you have to submit the Form 10C and 19 to your previous employer with all the details, especially the bank details should be clearly mentioned. After submitting, ensure that the signature from the concerned person is obtained from the employer. Along with these forms, the employer should submit Form 5, Form 10 3A, or 7PS (as the case may be). Also, submit the PAN copy (for added security).

Once all these documents are submitted to the concerned RPFC, ask for the acknowledgment. From the date of submission, it takes 30-45 working days. The amount will be directly deposited into your savings account, which you had mentioned on your form.

To expedite this process, ensure there is no delay from your last employer's side in attaching the forms and submitting them. I am attaching Form 10C and 19 in case you require them. If you need any further help, do let me know.
