As a Placement Executive in the very big group, Raisoni Group of Institutions, which is a conglomerate of 40+ institutions, we have our Training & Placement Officer. However, as a Placement Executive, I also have to invite companies to our campus. I am unsure how to approach this since there is a separate TPO. How can I take the initiative in this regard?

1. Your institute should have a good and simple website.
2. The company also assesses the standard of the students of the college.
3. Wi-Fi oriented, College Activity - involve all the things in the profile...
The above points are areas where you can focus on improving for the benefit of the college.
To attract companies, create a simple profile of your college and reach out to HR Managers of reputable organizations. Keep contacting companies consistently; you should see positive results.

There is this site . This is a site for complete placement preparation for Engineering/MCA students. There are no useless links, just lots of questions in a test simulator format. This is really a great resource. Students shouldn't mind paying a very small amount for such a useful help for their career.
