Firstly, tell me, how do you find the time to read so many magazines? The point is not to have superficial knowledge of everything; the point is to have good and real knowledge of what you know. You can't remember everything from so many magazines. Accept that. I am also a second-year MBA student.
Firstly, read the newspaper every day. Secondly, even if you read one HR magazine like HRM Review and articles from the internet, that's good enough. Learn to strike a balance between general awareness and domain knowledge.

I agree with Wabbit here. Please read any one magazine or newspaper article. Do not read so many magazines at this level. If you are doing some research, then you may require many magazines.

Well, there is nothing wrong in knowing about various magazines. Maybe for any project, presentation, etc., one might need to refer to a good magazine. Only newspapers can't be sufficient all the time. Even though one can't remember everything, at least they can take help from it anytime they need it.

Now, it is for you to decide which has been more informative and knowledgeable. Each one of us, if given an option, may select a different magazine depending on which magazine addressed our query the best.
Whichever magazine you read, please don't stop visiting this temple, mosque, church, gurudwara (and names of all places of worship) of HR, the Cite HR. What you have here, you will never find in one magazine or one place.

Hello friends and respected seniors. These days, I have been looking for good references from all of you regarding a good HR magazine that one can read. I asked you to refer from the various options (magazines) listed above. But the irony is that until now, there is no one who could guide properly in choosing a magazine. With reference to one of the above posts, I would like to say that if I had ever gone through them, then I could have decided on my own. Also, I know the names of these magazines; it doesn't mean that I want to read all of them. But I asked you to suggest the name of a single magazine out of these. Most of the above posts appear to deliver a lecture rather than showing the path.
I know that such a post is not welcomed by this website, but sorry to say that if our members do not encourage each other by giving proper replies, then what's the use of their posts and membership.

The annual subscription is Rs 300. You may contact the Executive Director, NIPM, 45 Jhowtala Road, 1st floor, PO Box 10275, Kolkata 700019.

I have read your case. It should not be a problem for you because you are working with younger individuals who are in a superior position. You can learn a lot from them. Learning is also new to everybody, whether you have experience or not. So, shed the perception of feeling guilty or rude. In the company, positions and roles matter, not the age factor.
The different treatment you receive is based on your perception only. Mingle with them and see the change; they will respect your age and seek your help. Don't be arrogant and think that you have better knowledge than them. Nobody is perfect or the best in the world. If you know the work better than them, then tell them in a polite manner.
