Dear Friends,

After a short break, I would like to start a discussion on various welfare measures practiced in the manufacturing industry. On many occasions, discussions have started but have not become enriched discussions due to a lack of participation from senior members.

I hope everyone can share some good practices from their organization on this forum. I am sure that the participation of senior members, along with their contributions, can enrich this discussion.

Dear Mr. P.T. Rameshan,

It would be great if you could provide some details regarding providing subsidized food, medical benefits, and any other benefits that would not be burdensome for the management and, at the same time, would be beneficial for the employees in the factory.

Prabhakar

Dear Mr. Prabhakar,

In my factory within the garment industry, we provide free transportation, tea, and tiffin allowances. We celebrate Children's Day and other important days with functions that involve family members. Additionally, we offer educational assistance to employees' children. These are just a few practices, and of course, some practices from other regions or places can be easily adapted to other workplaces as well. My intention is to share everyone's best practices in this forum so that everyone can benefit from them.

Regards, PT Rameshan
